ÖSV Delegation welcomed by Chancellor and Sports Minister

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and Sports Minister Heinz-Christian Strache have welcomed all Austrian medal and crystal globe winners at a reception in Vienna.

In a speech, Chancellor Kurz thanked the successful athletes for their impressive performances and “great Austrian calling cards” that they have left abroad. Sport Minister Strache also remembered all injured athletes and honoured performances of para-athletes.

Successful Nordic Combined athletes Mario Seidl, Franz-Josef Rehrl, Lukas Klapfer and Bernhard Gruber were among the invited athletes.
