Road to PyeongChang: Espen Andersen | FIS Nordic Combined

During the last Olympic Nordic Combined large hill event, he was jumping up and down on his coach, cheering on teammate Jørgen Graabak. This time, he might get a word in himself. This is Espen Andersen's "Road to PyeongChang". Nordic Combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in both cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The first major competition in Nordic combined was held in 1892 in Oslo at the first Holmenkollen Ski Festival, an event still held annually. The sport was included at the 1924 Winter Olympics, and has been on the programme ever since.
