Jarl Magnus Riiber had the best possible start of the Nordic Combined TRIPLE with the victory in Seefeld’s Provisional Competition Round. The Norwegian showed 103 metres and with 137.4 points, he would have a 22 second-head start on runner-up, Manuel Faißt (GER), should the PCR have to be used this weekend.

The German jumped to 102.5 metres (131.8 p.). On rank three, Riiber’s teammate Espen Bjørnstad had accumulated 131.1 points with a jump of 102 metres and he would start his race three seconds after Faißt. Akito Watabe and Martin Fritz followed closely with starting times of +0:30 and +0:34 with jumps of 102.5 and 101.5 metres.

Harald Johnas Riiber, who returned to the World Cup in Seefeld, claimed the sixth place in the Provisional Competition Round (102 m; 125.1 p.). Strong skiers Ilkka Herola, Fabian Rießle and Vinzenz Geiger were also among the jumping Top Ten with positions seven, eight and nine and would all start their races within +1:03.

As today's Provisional Competition Round did not count as a qualification, all 51 athletes will be on start for the first day of the Nordic Combined TRIPLE tomorrow.
