Kristian Ilves and Magnus Krog return in Val di Fiemme

Estonia’s Kristian Ilves and Norwegian Magnus Krog, who both had been sidelined by crashes in the Norwegian national championship jumping event in Falun (SWE) are both returning to competition action this week.

Both sustained injuries to their necks and had to sit out the first three World Cup weekend in Ruka (FIN), Lillehammer (NOR) and Ramsau am Dachstein (AUT).

“It will be good to race again”, Magnus Krog said. “I am looking forward to my season start after I had to follow the action on TV so far. I am of course interested to see in what shape exactly I am in but I have gotten good comparisons in training. For my exact level, I will just have to see. It was only impressive to watch my teammates in the first few events and I know what it takes to fight for the top results.”
