Summer Grand Prix Press Conferences 2019

The different venues of the Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix 2019 are hosting a number of press conferences to inform media representatives comprehensively about this year’s novelties, storied and trends

Oberwiesenthal

For its 10th Anniversary edition and the premiere of a Mixed Team event in Nordic Combined, the organisers in Oberwiesenthal invite members of the media to a press conference on Monday, August 19. It takes place at the Hüttenbachsaal of the Panoramahotel Oberwiesenthal at 17:00. Present will be local heroes Eric Frenzel, Terence Weber and Jenny Nowak and their coach Frank Erlbeck as well as WSC Erzgebirge Oberwiesenthal CEO Christian Freitag and representatives of the city of Oberwiesenthal.

Oberhof

After one press conference about the Nordic Combined mega event including the men’s and women’s Summer Grand Prix and FIS Youth Cup has already taken place this week, a second one focussed on the sportive aspect will follow on Thursday, 29th of August around 13:00. While the exact participants are not confirmed yet, local hero and coach Ronny Ackermann, Hermann Weinbuch and a German A-team athlete are in talks with the organisers.
