Become part of the World Cup finals on the arena video wall
Mar 16, 2021·Nordic CombinedFans can “watch” the Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup Finals from the video wall in the Sparkasse Vogtland Arena and do good in the process.
“At the FIS Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined World Cup in February, many fans asked us whether they could support the VSC Klingenthal, as there was a lack of spectators and the associated income due to the Corona crisis. We are now taking up one of the ideas introduced”, explains Krissi Roth from the Organizing Committee.
The idea is simple: Winter sports enthusiasts can email a selfie to the host ski club and at the same time transfer 10 € to the club’s donation account. Of course higher donations are also welcome. The pictures are then uploaded to the homepage www.weltcup-klingenthal.
In addition, all photos submitted will be shown on the large video wall on both days of the competition. "This means that many fans will certainly be seen on TV again and again," said Kissi Roth. All donations ti the VSC Klingenthal are used exclusively for the development of the next generation.
And this is how fans can take part from March 13th:
- Email a selfie in the best possible image quality, with your first and last name to spende@weltcup-klingenthal.de
- Transfer your donation to the account: VSC Klingenthal e.V., IBAN: DE73 8705 8000 3610 0021 06
All information and the link to the PayPal donation account can also be found at www.weltcup-klingenthal.de
The Nordic Combined season finals had to be moved due to the warm weather in Schonach. Klingenthal took over the event at short notice in coordination with FIS and the German Ski Association DSV.
The snow conditions on the large hill and in the cross-country track at the Sparkasse Vogtland Arena are still good after the World Cup in February. Two Individual Gundersen competitions will be held in the Vogtland area on March 20 and 21. Preparations are currently in full swing. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, both competitions can only be seen on TV again.
