30 days before the start of the event, FIS and the Event Task Force Group can give the green light for the Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Ramsau am Dachstein (AUT).

Despite the current lockdown in Austria, high-performance sports events can still be held if a suitable Covid-19 prevention concept is in place. The FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Ramsau am Dachstein will be held under increased security measures and its Covid-19 prevention concept will take all the current regulations of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health and additional measures from the Austria Ski Nordic Veranstaltungs GmbH as the organiser into consideration.

Organising Committee Chairman Alois Stadlober: “Despite the current strict measures, we are very positive about the event. Our concept is well-set up and we will now focus on getting the sports facilities ready, beginning with the jumping hill this weekend. Cold temperatures have been forecast, so we are optimistic that we are on a good way.”

The final snow control for Ramsau am Dachstein is scheduled for the 11th of December.
