The Finnish starters for the first World Cup of the season in Ruka (FIN) have been named. As the team has not been able to test its current jumping condition before today, Monday, the coaches named a large team for Ruka, from eight athletes will be chosen (quota 4 plus 4 national group) per competition.

Ilkka Herola, Eero Hirvonen, Wille Karhumaa, Leevi Mutru, Arttu Mäkiaho, Perttu Reponen

National Group:
Waltteri Karhumaa, Atte Kettunen, Otto Niittykoski, Olli Salmela

Interview opportunities Team FIN

The corona pandemic causes special arrangements for media meetings and interview opportunities in Ruka. For journalists on site, it will be possible to interview the Finnish team's athletes, coaches and staff after the official cross-country training in the mixed zone.

In addition, the Finnish national team will host a live-stream media conference on Zoom that can be joined remotely or viewed through the Instagram accounts of the national teams. The interviews can also be watched on IG-TV later.
