Green light for World Cup weekend in Val di Fiemme (ITA)

30 days in advance of the event, the FIS Task Force and the Organisers in Val di Fiemme gave green light for the planned Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup at the Italian venue from January 14-17.
As for every event, the task force evaluated the number of entered nations, the travel restrictions and conditions under which the teams can participate in the competitions. The OC’s health and Covid-19 prevention plans, as well as the testing protocols are also a big part of the discussion and have been approved by the local authorities.
With the Cross-Country Tour de Ski taking place at Val di Fiemme just days before, the Organising Committee is perfectly set up to also welcome the Nordic Combined athletes afterwards.
