The last week was a busy one for the Austrian men’s Nordic Combined team. To change up things a lot was the goal behind a training week at four different jumping hills, starting in Berchtesgaden on Monday, followed by an internal test competition in Ramsau am Dachstein on Tuesday, a training session in Bischofshofen on Wednesday, followed by travel to Seefeld. On Thursday, the team had another test competition at the Bergisel hill in Innsbruck.

“Usually, we would have a competition block now with the Summer Grand Prix but as this was cancelled this year, we do all competition internally in our team only. At the moment, Lukas Greiderer is leading this “Cafe-Cup” ranking, followed by Lukas Klapfer. Even if we still have things to work on, the level of competition shown by the entire team is good,” says head coach Christoph Eugen.
