With the upcoming introduction of the Women’s Nordic Combined World Cup and the  women’s debut at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, also the academic interest in Nordic Combined has risen over the last few years.

Not only does the academic interest prove the rising attraction and topicality of Nordic Combined and specifically the development of women within it, but the insights that each work delivers are useful tools for the respective strategical work that the FIS staff and the Nordic Combined Committee undertakes.

For the projects listed below, FIS and the Nordic Combined staff was actively involved in providing information, answering questions and encouraging the young scholars to cast their look to Nordic Combined as a field of study.

If other scholars are interested in adding their Nordic Combined-themed works to this bibliography, or if any bachelor or master students are considering Nordic Combined as a topic for their final theses, feel free to contact Nordic Combined Media Coordinator Silke Tegethof at tegethof(at)fisski.com. If scholars are interested in obtaining the below mentioned works, FIS is happy to facilitate a direct contact with the respective authors.
