New day, same winner! Gyda Westvold Hansen was already in the lead after the Ski Jumping competition on the Tehvandi HS 97 in Otepää (Estonia) today.

Under snowy conditions the Norwegian jumped to 95.5 meters (127.8 pts) today and took the lead after the Ski Jumping round. Therefore she was again the first one to start into the 5 km at the Tehvandi Stadium this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Marte Leinan Lund, also from Norway and current owner of the red bib as Best Skier, who landed at 92 meters (115.2 pts) and went into the course 50 seconds after her team mate.

Yesterdays Mass Start race winner Ida Marie Hagen (90.5 mts, 112.9 pts) placed third with a 1 minute backlog to the leader and completed Norways triple lead.

The furthest distance of the day was jumped by another Norwegian. Mari Leinan Lund, owner of the blue bib as Best Jumper, flew to strong 96.5 meters (108.9 pts), but couldn’t stand the attempt. She fell, but was able to leave the outrun on her own feet after a brief moment of shock.
In the end she wasn’t able to compete in the cross-country race this afternoon, due to some aftereffects of the crash.

Hansen confidently secured her fourth victory in a row, while a tough battle was fought for second and third place. Ida Marie Hagen, who started 10 seconds after Marte Leinan Lund, caught up with her team colleague after 3.7 km and they went into the finish sprint together.

In the end, Hagen (+49 sec) narrowly prevailed against Leinan Lund (+49.4 sec), who completed a triple victory for Norway.
