The Continental Cup continued in beautiful weather in Lahti (FIN) on Sunday, but the name of the winner didn’t change.
Jakob Lange from Germany is also the winner of the second Individual Gundersen competition, while his teammates Wendelin Thannheimer and Martin Hahn completed the podium.

Already after the Ski Jumping round, Germany took the positions one to five, with Christian Frank (119.5 m) on first place, ahead of Pirmin Maier (121 m, +4 sec) and Simon Hüttel (119.5 m, +16 sec).

Lange went into the race from 7th position, with a 42 sec backlog to the leader. he worked his way up to the top during the 10 km cross-country race and secured another victory. The second place went to Wendelin Thannheimer (+7.4 sec), who beat teammate Martin Hahn (+7.6 sec) in a tight finish sprint.
Apart from Austrian Manuel Einkemmer in 5th place (+8.3 sec), Germany occupied all top 8 spots and showed an incredibly strong team performance.

“I didn’t have my best jumps today so I had to ski more aggressive than yesterday. I tried to stay cool and one big attack in the end was enough today. I’m satisfied”, Lange said.

Results: COC - IG Men, HS130/10 km, 6.3.22, Lahti
