Gyda Westvold Hansen is also the winner of the second Individual Gundersen in Lillehammer today.

Under snowy conditions the Mari Leinan Lund jumped the furthest distance of the day with 97 meters (132.8 pts) at the Lysgårdsbakken HS98 and took the lead after Ski Jumping. Therefore, the Norwegian was the first one on the 5 km cross-country course at the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to the overall World Cup leader from Norway, Gyda Westvold Hansen, who landed at 93 meters (130.3 pts) and started into the course 10 seconds after her team mate.

Annika Sieff (86.5 mts, 116 pts) placed third with a large backlog of 1:07 min on the leaders.
The 4th place after Ski Jumping was taken by Lisa Hirner from Austria with 90 meters (114.4 pts) and a 1:14 min backlog on Leinan Lund. Therefore, a tight race for rank three could be expected.

Leinan Lund couldn't keep Hansen at bay for long, so the Norwegians contested most of the race together. In the last 2.5 km, Hansen finally pulled away. Lund could not keep up with the fast pace of her teammate and had to let go.

After 16:02.7 min, Hansen reached the finish line, 52.6 seconds ahead of Leinan Lund in second place. Meanwhile, Lisa Hirner was able to overtake Annika Sieff and took 3rd place (+1:29 min) for Austria. The Italian dropped back to 7th place, after being also overtaken by todays fastest skier Marte Leinan Lund.

The overall ranking remains firmly in the hands of Westvold Hansen, who continues to wear the yellow bib.The best jumper in the blue bib is Mari Leinan Lund, the red bib for the best skier is worn by her sister Marte Leinan Lund.
