PCR win for Franz-Josef Rehrl in Lahti

The PCR for the Mens FIS World Cup in Lahti (FIN) took place in heavy snowfall today. 
49 athletes from 10 nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the Provisional Competition Round for Sundays Individual Gundersen on the Salpausselkä HS 130.

Due to technical issues a short break after three athletes had to be taken, but the PCR could continue without further interruptions afterwards.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Franz-Jsoef Rehrl with 131.5 meters. With 122.4 points the Austrian took the lead and secured the victory of the PCR.  
Rank 2 was taken Kristjan Ilves from Estonia, reaching 121.5 meters and 121.9 points, after the gate was lowered from 14 to 12. 
Norwegian Espen Bjoernstad (128 mts, 120.7 pts), team Olympic gold medalist from Beijing, placed third, ahead of the current overall World Cup second Jarl Magnus Riiber. His team mate faced less fortunate wind conditions and only reached 113 meters and 114.3 points.
