PCR win for Weber in Lillehammer

With a jump to 95.5 meters the German, who celebrated his first World Cup victory in Ruka last weekend, showed a strong performance on the Lysgårdsbakken HS98 this morning.
Under winterly conditions in -14°C, 53 athletes started into the second event of the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season 2021/22.
Weber collected 139 points and placed first ahead of the current overall World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber. The Norwegian showed the furthest jump of the day with 98 meters and placed second with 138 points (+ 4 sec).
Rank three went to Norway as well, with Jens Luraas Oftebro who jumped to 95 meters (137.6 pts, +6 sec).
Last years overall World Cup second Vinzenz Geiger from Germany was disqualified due to irregular boots.
