COC: Three wins for Weber in Ruka (FIN)

Terence Weber from Germany defied the difficult wind conditions in northern Finland best and secured three stage wins in a row.
Due to the weather, the Ski Jumping part had to be cancelled on Friday, instead a Mass Start was held, which Aaron Kostner from Italy won with a lead of 8.2 seconds. Austrian Manuel Einkemmer was second after the 10 km race, while Mael Tyrode of France placed third.One day later, on Saturday evening, the Ski Jumping round of the first competition took place. Terence Weber secured his first victory of the weekend with 130 meters ahead of Manuel Einkemmer (123 m) and Simen Tiller (129 m) from Norway.Iacopo Bortolas from Italy reached the best distance of the day with 138.5 meters.

Due to the wind conditions, the second Ski Jumping part, originally planned for Saturday morning, had to be postponed, instead a Mass Start was held again.
As on Friday, Aaron Kostner won the 10 km race, followed by Marc Luis Rainer from Austria and the previous day's winner Weber.
The following Ski Jumping round took place on Sunday morning.
With another strong performance on the HS142, Weber, who celebrated his maiden World Cup victory in Ruka in December 2021, showed the furthest jump of the day.
131 meters brought him the second victory ahead of the Austrians Christian Deuschl (128 m) and Florian Kolb (118 m).

Directly after the competition round for Saturday, the Ski Jumping competition round for the Individual event took place on Sunday.
With 137.5 meters, Austrian Christian Deuschl took the lead in front of Weber (136 m) and Torje Seljeset (129.5 m) from Norway and was the first one to start into the 10 km cross-country race.
Weber managed to catch up the 16 seconds behind Deuschl and reached the finish line first with a commanding lead of 40.8 seconds. The German secured his third win in a row, while the second place went to Deuschl again. Aleksander Skoglund from Norway finished third, 1:07.2 min behind.
