Annika Sieff is the winner of the women’s Individual Gundersen competition at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Whistler (CAN).

The Italian reached 92.5 meters on the HS109 and placed second after the Ski Jumping part, only 1 second behind Ingvild Synnoeve Midtskogen (92 m, 120.3 pts) from Norway.
Annalena Slamik (88.5 m, 120.1 pts) placed second as well, while Nathalie Armbruster (92.5 m, 115.2 pts) was fourth, 20 seconds behind the leader.

In an exciting 5km cross-country race in heavy snowfall, Sieff managed to pull away from the leading group and reached the finish line first after 14:42.9 min, claiming Gold and defending her Junior World Championship title from 2022.
With another strong skiing performance Armbruster constantly reduced the distance to the leader and won the silver medal 16.3 seconds behind the Italian.
While Slamik couldn’t keep up with the high pace, another Austrian skied up from behind.
Lisa Hirner overtook her team mate in the last lap and secured the Bronze medal 41.2 seconds behind.
