Positive Snow Control for Schonach (GER)

The World Cup events in Schonach (GER) have been confirmed with a positive Snow Control on Thursday, 2nd February.
Due to the low temperatures, the organizers were able to start producing artificial snow.
Thus, the planned Nordic Combined World Cup events can be held on the Langenwaldschanze and Wittenbachtal stadium as planned.
After the fantastic 2022 Finals in Schonach for men and women, we are now looking forward to the upcoming competitions in the Black Forest. The organizers did a good job and, despite the difficult winter, fulfilled all the requirements for our World Cup. With the final of the German Trophy and the awarding of the traditional Schwarzwaldpokal, we can expect two very special highlights as well.– Lasse Ottesen, Race Director
Therefore, Schonach is ready for the upcoming Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cups from 10th – 12thFebruary 2023.
