Ramsau (AUT): Best Jumper Yamamoto wins PCR

In winterly conditions, the Provisional Competition Round of the Men’s Viessmann FIS World Cup took place in Ramsau this afternoon.

53 athletes from 12 nations started in two Official Training rounds and the PCR afterwards.

Ryota Yamamoto reached the furthest jump of the day with 99.5 meters. Therewith, the Japanese secured the victory of the PCR with a total of 135.3 points. 
Second rank went to the Norwegian Overall World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber with 97.5 meters and 130.2 points. 
Julian Schmid from Germany placed third with a jump on 98 meters, collecting 127.2 points.

The men’s competition on the WM-Schanze HS98 will start tomorrow at 9:25 CET.
