Ruka (FIN): Seidl wins first PCR of the season

Mario Seidl from Austria is the winner of todays PCR in Ruka (FIN).

The PCR for the Mens first World Cup competition in winterly Ruka took place today in calm wind conditions and cold temperatures. 
52 athletes from 12 nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the PCR afterwards.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Mario Seidl with 145.5 meters. With 159.6 points the Austrian took the lead and secured the victory of the PCR.  
Rank 2 was taken by last seasons Overall World Cup winner Jarl Magnus Riiber from Norway, with 149.6 points, reaching 132.5 meters. 
Jens Luraas Oftebro (136 mts, 148.8 pts) took the third rank.

The traditional Ruka Opening Tour will begin tomorrow with an Individual 5km event, followed by a 10km Individual on Saturday and a Mass Start on Sunday.
