Lillehammer (NOR): Hansen wins PCR, Kasai with best jump

The Provisional Comeptition Round for the Women’s FIS Nordic Combined season opening in Lillehammer (NOR), took place in winterly conditions this evening.
28 athletes from 10 nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the PCR afterwards on the Lysgårdsbakken HS 98.
Gyda Westvold Hansen from Norway took the victory with a jump on 94 meters and a total of 139.5 points.
Rank 2 was taken by Svenja Würth from Germany, reaching 92.5 meters and collecting 128.7 points.
Haruka Kasai placed third, with the best jump of the day on 95 meters. The Japanese collected 127.7 points and therefore showed a strong performance at the first women’s event of the season.
