At his 130th World Cup start, Jarl Magnus Riiber secured his 73rd victory.

The Norwegian was once again already in the lead after the Ski Jumping competition on the Holmenkollen HS 134 this morning.

In windy conditions the 26-year-old jumped the furthest distance of the day with 134.5 meters (136.5 pts) in the morning and took the lead. Therefore, he was the first one to start into the 10 km cross-country race in the afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Johannes Lamparter from Austria, who landed at 131.5 meters (128.9 pts) and went into the course 30 seconds after Riiber.

Franz-Josef Rehrl (129 mts, 118.8 pts) placed third, 1:11 min behind the leader.

Like yesterday, Riiber ran a lonely race at the front and continuously increased his lead.

Despite Lamparter's strong running performance, the Norwegian was already 51.9 seconds in the lead after 5 km.

Kristjan Ilves and Thomas Rettenegger, who had competed in the first half of the race together, separated after the Austrian could no longer keep up with the Estonian's high pace on the climb.

Lamparter kept his position constant, while Ilves caught up with Franz-Josef Rehrl after 7.5 km.

While Riiber was able to celebrate his victory in a relaxed manner, Lamparter (+1:10.6 min) brought Austria to the finish line.

Ilves pulled away from Rehrl when entering the stadium and took third place, 2:24 minutes behind Riiber.

With four athletes in the top 10, Austria once again showed a strong team performance and extended its points lead over Norway in the Nations Cup to 162 points.
