Ida Marie Hagen is the winner of the women’s last Individual Compact competition of the season and therewith also secured the victory in the Compact Trophy.

Her team mate Gyda Westvold Hansen was in the lead after the women’s Ski Jumping competition on the Toni-Seelos-Olympiaschanze HS 109 this morning.

In bright sunshine the Norwegian jumped the furthest distance of the day with 105 meters (119.8 pts) and took the lead. Therefore, she was the first one to start into the 5 km Compact race at the WM stadium this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Ida Marie Hagen, who landed at 102 meters (115.4 pts) and went into the course 6 seconds after her team mates, due to the Compacts fixed starting times.

Jenny Nowak (97 mts, 111.1 pts) from Germany placed third, 12 seconds behind the leader.

Mari Leinan Lund reached 108.5 meters, but was disqualified due to an irregular suit.

Hansen couldn't hold on to her lead for long and was overtaken by her teammate within the first kilometer.
Meanwhile, Lena Brocard (+17.9 sec) passed Jenny Nowak (+19.1 sec) and took third place.

Nathalie Armbruster, who was in 9th place after jumping, rushed up from behind, closely followed by Marte Leinan Lund.

The pursuers also caught up with Brocard, who fell due to carelessness on the last climb and unfortunately took Leinan Lund with her. Both athletes fell back, opening Armbruster the door to the podium.

In the end Hagen celebrated her 5th World Cup victory, ahead of her teammate Hansen (+1:02.7 min) on rank two, while Armbruster (+1:06.0 min) saved her third place.

With her victory, Hagen is also the overall winner of the Compact Trophy and will receive the mini crystal globe at the finals in Trondheim.
