Team Finland won the Mixed Team gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon (KOR).

The Norwegian Team was in the lead after the Ski Jumping round on the HS109 at noon.

Under a blue sky, Nora Helene Evans (91 m), Sverre Kumar Lundeby (101.5 m), Erik Leiraamo (101 m) and Ingrid Laate (105.5 m) collected a total of 448.4 points and went into the 4x3.3 km race first.

Rank 2 was taken by team Finland, with Heta Hirvonen (101 m), Peter Raisanen (87 m), Eemeli Kurttila (103 m) and Individual gold medalist Minja Korhonen (102 m) collecting 435.8 points and starting the race 13 seconds after the Norwegians.
Team Italy with Giada Delugan (94.5 m), Bryan Venturini (90 m), Manuel Senoner (111 m) and Anna Senoner (99 m), placed third, 15 seconds behind the leaders.

In an exciting cross-country race over 4x3.3 km, Norway couldn’t defend its lead against the strong Finns. With Korhonen und Raisanen both having the fasted skiing times of their group, Finland confidently won the gold medal.
Meanwhile, Slovenia showed a strong catch-up race, after being 6th in the Ski Jumping competition.
Aljaz Janhar, the Individual medalists Tia Malovrh and Teja Pavec as well as Lovro Percl Serucnik, fought their way up to the podium and won the silver medal, 14.4 sec behind Finland.
The Italian team was able to defend its positions after jumping all the way to the finish line, securing the bronze medal.
