After high winds delayed the Ski Jumping portion of the men’s Mass Start at the FIS Continental Cup in Schonach, the competition resumed this morning on the Langenwaldschanze HS100.

The Mass Start race on Friday highlighted Norway’s Aleksander Skoglund, who crossed the finish line first after a strong performance on the 10 km cross-country course. He was closely followed by teammate Espen Andersen, who finished 5.4 seconds behind, and Germany’s Jakob Lange, just 8.4 seconds off the lead.

It was tough conditions yesterday, so was happy we moved the ski jumping to today. It was a really fun cross-country race yesterday, with hard conditions, I like that, so I had a good starting position for the jumping today. I showed a good jump today and managed to take the victory, I think it’s my first Mass Start win, so that was cool.Espen Andersen (NOR), Winner
