Haruka Kasai tops PCR in Ramsau

The Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the Women’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup unfolded today in Ramsau, Austria, under mild weather conditions. With 34 athletes from 11 nations on the start list, the day featured two training jumps followed by the decisive PCR on the WM-Schanze HS98 hill.

Haruka Kasai of Japan delivered a stellar performance, soaring to 92.5 meters and earning 127.8 points to claim the top spot in the PCR. Germany’s Jenny Nowak secured second place with a jump of 88.5 meters and 121.1 points. Norwegian Ida Marie Hagen, the current Overall World Cup leader, landed an 88-meter jump for 120.1 points, earning her third place.

The longest jump of the day came from Germany’s Ronja Loh, who reached an impressive 95 meters, demonstrating exceptional form.

The action continues tomorrow in Ramsau with the women’s first 5km Mass Start cross-country race of the season, beginning at 13:15 CET.
