The Nordic Combined committee meeting took place in Zurich (SUI) on September 27th, 2024.

The decisions made by the sub-committee for Equipment were discussed.

In addition, the updated calendars for the next season and the latest information regarding the development program were presented.

Additionally to the decisions made by the committee in Portoroz (SLO) in May 2024, the following updates have been made:

Common Waxing

After a successful first common waxing test event in Oberstdorf (GER), one more test event was confirmed by the Committee in Portoroz (SLO). Schonach (GER) will be the venue for Common Waxing in the 2024-25 World Cup season. In close collaboration with the LOC and FIS Sustainability responsibles, a detailed plan will be developed to implement a more sustainable and efficient event.

All details will be communicated closer to the season.

Suit limitations

After a successful test during Summer Grand Prix, the amount of Ski Jumping competition suits will also be limited in the World Cup.
A total of five suits per athlete will be allowed during the World Cup season 2024-25, with three suits in the first period before adding one for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and one for the third period.
The suits will be marked by stamps, while the new chip system, in which the individual suit parts are marked with a chip by the equipment controllers after the check, will be further tested. Only stamped/chipped suits are allowed in the competitions afterwards.
