Positive Snow Control for FIS Para Alpine World Ski Championships

Today, at the final snow control for the FIS Para Alpine World Ski Championships it was confirmed that the competitions will take place as orignially scheduled from 21st-29th January.

Despite unseasonably warm temperatures across most of Europe this winter, the Organizers in Espot (ESP) were able to secure enough snow to complete the slopes for all competitions allowing the World Championships to take place as planned.

The scheulde for the upcoming World Championships is as follows:
January 20 - Opening Ceremony
January 21 - Downhill
January 22 - Super-G
January 24 - Alpine Combined
January 25 - Giant Slalom - women
January 26 - Giant Slalom - men
January 27 - Slalom - women
January 28 - Slalom - men
January 29 - Parallel event
