FIS Para snow sports confirmed for 2030 Winter Paralympics in the French Alps

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced the sport program for the 2030 Winter Paralympic Games in the French Alps. Six sports were approved, including Para Alpine Skiing, Para Snowboard, and Para Cross-Country, which will be overseen by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).

As shown with previous editions of the Paralympic Winter Games, all six sports bring high-level competition representing the pinnacle of Para sport and strength in depth with regards to athlete talent which bodes really well for the future of the Paralympic Winter Games. The selection process followed a comprehensive review of applications from International Federations. FIS is thrilled to contribute to an event that highlights elite competition and Para athlete talent, and eagerly anticipates the 2030 Games as a celebration of inclusive winter sports.
