Andrea Morassi was appointed the new head coach of the Italian national team and will follow the Pole Lukasz Kruczek, who was coaching the team in the past years.

The 30-year-old, who was competing in the Ski Jumping World Cup himself until 2016, now faces the task to build a new, young Italian team after the retirements of Sebastian Colloredo and Davide Bresadola at the end of last season.

For the 2019/20 season, Alex Insam is the only athlete with A-team status, Federico Cecon and Daniele Varesco were named to the B-team. Giovanni Bresadola, Francesco Cecon, Mattia Galiani, and Daniel Moroder are the junior's B-team.

Austrian Janko Zwitter remains the coach of the ladies' A-team, that consists of Lara Malsiner, Manuela Malsiner, and Elena Runggaldier.
