Althaus keeps on winning

Germany´s Katharina Althaus took the win in the qualification for the Individual competition of the FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping in Hinterzarten (GER). With 102,0 meters and 127,1 points Althaus stayed ahead of Japan´s Sara Takanashi and Lucile Morat of France. Takanashi jumped 101,0 meters and got 124,9 points. Lucile Morat got 124,1 points with her jump to 102,5 meters.

Klinec with the longest jump
The longest jump of the day was performed by Ema Klinec of Slovenia with 103,0 meters. Klinec finished 5th with 119,0 points behind Norway´s Maren Lundby (119,4). Svenja Wuerth of Germany finished 6th ahead of Yuki Ito and Austria´s Chiara Hoelzl. Irina Avvakumova of Russia came in 9th, Slovenia´s Ursa Bogataj completed the top ten.

Team competition on Saturday
Before the Individual competition on Sunday a historic event will be held on Saturday. 11 teams will take part in the first Ladies team event. Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Japan, France, Norway, USA, Canada, Russia, Italy and Romania will compete from 12.30 pm.
