Clear victory of Maren Lundby in Holmenkollen

Maren delivered an outstanding performance in the famous Holmenkollen hill in Oslo and no one could challenge the gold Olympic medalist from PyeongChang. “I am happy with my jumps, especially the first one was very good. It was a great honor to have both the royal family and the prime minister cheering for us. There are two competitions left this season and I want to continue jumping on this level”, said the happy winner.

Iraschko-Stolz 30 points behind Lundby
**Daniel Iraschko-Stolz was number five after the first round (128 m). In the final, she jumped half a meter longer and moved up to the second place (231.2 point). “My jumps were quite good even though I didn´t train on large hill this winter. I couldn´t set a good landing in the first round due to the wind, but I am happy with the second jump. I was quite stable. I always liked jumping in big hills and this the idea to introduce more competitions in large hills next season is awesome”, said the Austrian.
Yuki Ito (123 m and 124 m; 229.7 point) came in third. “I am very happy with the result, but also a bit surprised. I didn´t think I could be on the podium. We have a break after Oslo and I need to work on my technique before the final events”.
**Takanashi number 4
**Sara Takanashi (122,5 m and 125,5 m; 228.6 point) was number four, followed by to Germans: Carina Vogt (124 m and 123,5 m) and Katharina Althaus (123 m and 116 m). Anne Odine Strøm surprised with very good jumps (117 m and 116 m) and came in 7. Chiara Hoelzl, Irina Avvakumova and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger completed the Top 10.
The two final events this season are held 24-25 March in Oberstdorf.
