I'm really happy with today's result. The conditions today were perfect and I hope it will be the same tomorrow", said Andreas Wank.
Sondre Ringen of Norway was the best jumper in the first round with 136.5 m, in the final the 21-year-old landed at 131 m and came in behind the German with his 260.7 points. "In training I had some problems, but the jumps in the competition were very good. I like the hill in Rena, it's a big one and its profile is a little bit old-school, but this is something I like very much", said the German.
After his two wins last weekend in Klingenthal, Marius Lindvik of Norway had to be satisfied with a fourth place in this competition. The 19-year-old was only eleventh after the first half of the competition, but with a strong second jump of 136.5 m he missed the Top 3 only be one point.
