Czech teams for next season named

The Czech Ski Association announced its team nominations for the 2017/18 season on Wednesday.

Alongside veteran Roman Koudelka, the four young ski jumpers Tomas Vancura, Vojtech Stursa, Viktor Polasek and Filip Sakala were named to the team A 1 of head coach Richard Schallert and his assistant Jaroslav Simek.

Jakub Janda, Lukas Hlava, Cestmir Kozisek, Frantisek Holik and Damian Lasota are on the team A2. These athletes will be coached by Jakub Jiroutek and Tomas Vambera.

Antonin Hajek, who ended his ski jumping career in fall 2015, will now coach the junior's team together with Zdenek Zidek. The coach of the Czech ladies' team is Patrik Chlum.
