At the Norwegian Ski Jumping championships on the large hill, held on Wednesday in Trondheim, Daniel Andre Tande could confirm his position as the currently best Norwegian ski jumper.

A day after his 23rd birthday, he was the best in both rounds with 138 m and 140 m and for his second jump of 140 m he even got the best mark of 20.0 by two of the five judges. With this performance and 307.5 points, Daniel Andre Tande took his second national title this season, after already winning the normal hill event last October.

Johann Andre Forfang got closest to the winner with his jumps of 132.5 m and 137.5 m and a total of 288.6 points. The third place went to Andreas Stjernen with 133.5 m and 136.5 m and 287.1 points.

Clearly behind the Top 3, Tom Hilde finished fourth, followed by Robert Johansson and Anders Fannemel.

The Norwegian large hill championships of the juniors already took place last weekend, also in Trondheim. There Mats Bjerke Myhren won with 286.8 points (131 m and 138 m), ahead of Oliver Dahl (131.5 m and 135 m; 272.3 points) and Marius Lindvik (129 m and 132 m; 270.4 points).
