Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria won the Individual competition of the FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping in Ljubno (SLO) with 89,0 and 89,5 meters and 262,4 points ahead of Maren Lundby (NOR) 260,6 points and Katharina Althaus (GER) 259,3 points.

Daniela Iraschko-Stolz's return to World Cup got the icing on Sunday's victory

Austrian shoved impressive performance during the whole weekend. Daniela: ”I'm happy to be back in the world cup. I watched the girls jumping in Lillehammer, and after that, I knew I need to do better than ever. I still don’t know what today happened, but I’m happy. I like the hill because it’s a challenge. Ljubno is a very special place to me. So many people are celebrating ladies ski jumping so this is the best place for Ladies ski jumping. For me, it’s like the home competition.”

Iraschko-Stolz managed to cut Maren Lundby's winning streak.

Maren: ”This whole weekend has been a bit more struggle. Here is very hard to handle the inrun but I manage to work it. I’m happy about the second place. I will go home for a week to train and just relax."
Katharina Althaus: ”I think my jumping was more stable here compared to last year. I’m very happy to be on the podium again. Next, I’m going home, train and spend some time with my family and friends.”

Sara Takanashi (JPN) was fourth behind Althaus. The  first four Ladies were close to each other at the results.
As in yesterday's competition, Carina Vogt was 5th followed by Irina Avvakumova and Yuki Ito.
Juliane Seyfarth took 8th place before best local hero Ema Klinec and Austrian's Chiara Hoelzl.

Two Slovenians to end their career
Katja Pozun announced the end of her ski jumping career after competing in front of the home crowd. Katja is a former member of FIS Athletes' Commission. Her teammate Eva Logar has also decided to end her career.
