Despite the recent difficult situation with various disappointing result during the 4-Hills-Tournament, the Austrian ski jumpers are now looking forward to the upcoming Ski Flying event in front of their home crowd in Bad Mitterndorf.

"After the 4-Hills-Tournament, we are now fully focused on the Ski Flying competition on the Kulm hill. We are looking ahead now and we are looking forward to this next task. We have some good ski flyers on our team and I'm excited to see what the Kulm has in store for us", said head Heinz Kuttin, who named seven athletes to his team for the first Ski Flying weekend of the season.

Altenburger replaces Fettner

Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayoeck, Gregor Schlierenzauer, Clemens Aigner, Daniel Huber, Manuel Poppinger and Florian Altenburger will be competing, Manuel Fettner uses the time to train in Innsbruck and Predazzo in order to get in shape in time for the Olympic Games in February.

"After the 4-Hills I was recharging my batteries a bit, yesterday I was already jumping in Bischofshofen again. Today we will do some athletic training and tomorrow we can finally go to the Kulm. I've been looking forward to this event all year. Ski Flying is a lot of fun and I'm sure that there will be a lot of positive emotions again", said Stefan Kraft, for whom the 4-Hills-Tournament had a positive end with a fourth place in Bischofshofen after bad results in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (31st) and Innsbruck (24th).
