In both Ski Jumping team competitions at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) 2017 in Erzurum (TUR) the Slovenes had the most reason to celebrate.

In the men's team event, Lovro Vodusek, Barnard Dobre, Tomi Jovan and Timi Zajc won the gold medal with a total of 936.2 points. Like in Tuesday's individual competition, Timi Zajc was again the outstanding athlete with his jumps of 110 m and 114.5 m.

The silver medal went to France with 891.6 points. Besides the silver and bronze medalists of the individual event, Jonathan Learoyd and Mathis Contamine, and Alessandro Batby, the winner of the ladies' individual competition, Romane Dieu, was also a member of the French team on Friday.

With a total of 791.0 points, Aleksandr Loginov, Artem Yudin, Ilya Baskakov and Aleksandr Marchukov won the bronze medal for Russia.

The Top 3 were followed by Finland, Romania and the Czech Republic on the places four to six.

Interesting fact on the side: This competition was held on two days. Due to the strong wind, the second round was postponed from Thursday to Friday.

Right after the end of this competition, the mixed team competition was held this afternoon on the HS 109 in Erzurum. And the strong Slovenian ski jumpers proved to be unbeatable again. Nika Kriznar, Tomi Jovan, Katra Komar and Timi Zajc dominated with their 836.6 points.

More than 120 points behind the winners, silver went to France with Marine Bressand, Mathis Contamine, Romane Dieu and Jonathan Learoyd (713.2 points).

Russia (Lidiia Iakovleva, Ilya Baskakov, Aleksandra Barantceva, Aleksandr Marchukov) took the third place on the podium for the second time on Friday with 653.9 points. The fourth place went to the team of Romania.
