From the triple to the team – Ski Jumping ladies kicking off the season

An Olympic season is already very special for every athlete. Only 10 weeks to go until the fight for the medals. For the ski jumping ladies the 2017/18 season is even more special.

With the „Lillehammer Triple“ the first highlight of the winter is coming up right at the beginning. After the qualification on Thursday there are two Individual competitions on the Normal Hill scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The final of the series will be held on Sunday on the Large Hill with the best 30 athletes.

The next World Cup stage will come along with the next highlight. From December 15th to 17th it is Hinterzarten´s turn, to host the ski jumping ladies. And on December 16th to host the first ever Team competition in the FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping.

The new year will begin in Rasnov (ROU) with two Individual competitions before the ladies take their first big trip to Asia. Each two Individual competitions are scheduled for Sapporo and Zao (JPN). In addition the second team competition of the season will take place in Zao.

Returning to Europe the ladies can look forward to another highlight: Ljubno (SLO) is a promise for great sports and a great atmosphere.

The last competitions before the Olympics will be held in Hinzenbach (AUT).

On February 12th is the biggest day of the year: The Olympic competition in PyeongChang.

Almost one month later the World Cup continues on the legendary Holmenkollen in Oslo.

The grand final will take place from March 23rd till 25th in Oberstdorf (GER).
