Green light for Ski Flying World Championships
Aug 31, 2018·Ski JumpingNothing shall stand in the way of the Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf (GER), at least when it comes to the snow situation.
The landing area and the outrun of the Heini-Klopfer-Ski Flying hill are already almost completely covered with snow and prepared. The ice track in the inrun shall be finished this weekend.
Even if there would be milder temperatures in the upcoming days before the competitions, the organizers would be prepared as they have set up enough snow depots.
The Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf will be held from January 18th to 21st. The four competition rounds of the individual event will take place Friday and Saturday, followed by the team competition on Sunday.
