The French team has decided to end the 4-Hills-Tournament already after the first two competitions in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf.

Vincent Descombes Sevoie and Jonathan Learoyd will not compete in the next two events in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.

"Vincent is out of shape, we will train with him on the upcoming days. Jonathan is tired after the exhausting competitions in the last couple of weeks. His focus will now be on the Junior World Championships in Kandersteg (SUI) from January 27th to February 4th", explains assistant coach Robert Treitinger.

Vincent Descombes Sevoie finished only 45th and 44th in the first two competitions of the 4-Hills-Tournament in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen and failed to qualify for the final rounds in both events. His best result so far in this disappointing season was the 27th place in Nizhny Tagil (RUS).

Only 17-year-old Jonathan Learoyd gained some attention with a win in the Continental Cup in Engelberg right before the 4-Hills and scored the first World Cup points of his career when he was 29th in Oberstdorf.
