Hinterzarten ready to make history

The second stage of the FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping in Hinterzarten will be a historic one. On Saturday the first ever Team competition of the ladies will take place in the Black Forrest. Up to 12 teams will take part in the competition. The German hosts seem to have the biggest chances to win after the great start into the new season in Lillehammer two weeks ago.

Katharina Althaus, winner of the first „Lillehammer Triple“ is in an outstanding shape, coach Andreas Bauer has a huge choice of athletes for his team. Also Austria, Slovenia, Japan, France, Russia and Norway might have chances to fight for the podium. Hinterzartens´ fourth appearance in the FIS World Cup is promising a thrilling Individual competition on Sunday as well. So far, Sarah Hendrickson of the USA, Sabrina Windmueller of Switzerland and Japan´s Sara Takanashi took the honours for winning in Hinterzarten.

Two weeks after the 100th World Cup competition of the flying ladies everything is set for a great weekend.

Friday, Dec. 15th:

6.00pm qualification

Saturday, Dec.16th:
11.30am Trial round
12.30pm Team competition

Sunday, Dec.17th:
2.30pm Trial round
3.30pm Individual competition
