Maren Lundby won the qualification in Oberstdorf

Maren Lundby from Norway won the qualification for the first Individual competition of the FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping final weekend in Oberstdorf (GER).

With 101,5 meters and 125,2 points, she was ahead of Sara Takanashi JPN and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz AUT. Takanashi jumped 101,0 meters and got 123,9 points. Iraschko-Stolz 99 meters and 120,6 points.

Althaus best local athlete

Katharina Althaus from Germany took 4th place with 116,8 points, and her teammate Carina Vogt came in 5th with 116,6 points. Slovenian Ema Klinec finished 6th and Austrian Jacqueline Seifriedsberger 7th. Best French athlete was Lucile Morat with 8th place following Anna Odine Stroem from Norway and Japanese Kaori Iwabutchi completing the top ten.Slovenians had four athletes in the next spots in the results, divided by Yuki Ito JPN in 13th place and Irina Avvakumova RUS in 15th place.

Germans qualify nine athletes

Nine host country athletes passed the qualification. Representatives of eleven countries made their way to Saturday's competition.

The first competition in Oberstdorf will start on Saturday at 15:00 (CET).
