Besides the 4-Hills-Tournament and the Raw Air Tour, there will be another competition format in the upcoming winter as part of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup: The "Willingen Five"

The competition jumps of both individual World Cup events in Willingen (GER) on Saturday, February 3rd, and Sunday, February 4th, and the qualification jump on Friday, February 2nd, will count for this overall ranking. This means that the athletes can score points with a total of five jumps.

In the individual World Cup events on Saturday and Sunday the current overall World Cup standing will determine the starting order. There will be no qualification on Sunday.

In addition to the regular World Cup prize money, the overall winner of the "Willingen Five" will be awarded an extra prize money of 25000 Euro. The overall leader will wear the special leader's bib. If the overall lead changes after the first round on Saturday or Sunday, this bib will also be passed on to the new leader.

"We are looking forward to this new competition series at our World Cup in Willingen, because it will also be about the overall ranking from the beginning to the end and this will make it especially exciting", said Juergen Hensel, president of the Ski Club Willingen and head of the World Cup organizing committee.
