In the few days between the two Ski Jumping World Cup weekends in Poland, the Czech national championships were held on the normal hill in Harrachov on Tuesday.

The win there went to Roman Koudelka. The 27-year-old had the best jumps in both round with 100.5 m and 89.5 m and won with a total of 252.0 points. "I was jumping well, although my jumps were not really perfect. Of course it would have been better if this competition would have been held on the large hill. I'm not tired after the last events, but it would have been nice to focus on training instead of the championships", Koudelka is quoted on czech-ski.com.

Lukas Hlava came in second with 98.5 m and 88.5 m and 242.5 points. Only half a point behind, Tomas Vancura finished third with 98.5 m and 89.5 m (242.0 points).

Veteran Jan Matura was fourth, followed by the youngsters Viktor Polasek, Vojtech Stursa and Filip Sakala. Jakub Janda was eighth.

With his 229.5 points (102.5 m and 88 m) Viktor Polasek won the Junior's ranking, Frantisek Holik was second with 199.5 points (85.5 m and 82.5 m). Damian Lasota took the third place with 185.0 points (84 m and 78 m).

The best in the ladies' competition was Barbora Blazkova with 86.5 m and 80 m and 191.0 points, Marta Krepelkova (79 m and 78.5 m; 174.5 points) and Jana Mrakotova (78.5 m and 68 m; 147.5 points) finished second and third.
