Takanashi and Lundby best in training

The FIS World Cup Ladies Ski Jumping in Rasnov (ROU) got started on Friday with the official training. Due to the number of participants the qualification was cancelled, all 41 athletes will compete on Saturday and Sunday.

Lundby with longest jump
The best jumps on Friday where shown by Sara Takanashi and Maren Lundby. Takanashi won the first two rounds with efforts to 97,5 and 95,5 meters. Lundby was best in the last round with the longest jump of the day to 98,5 meters. The first two rounds Lundby finished second.

Iraschko-Stolz with little scare
Good performances were also shown by Irina Avvakumova with her best jump to 92,0 meters and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz with 95,0 meters. The Austrian just had to get over a shock moment when she fell in the outrun area after her last jump and felt some pain in the knee. Yuki Ito, three time winner at the last competitions in Japan, underlined her ambitions with 96,5 meters in the last round.

The competition on Saturday will start at 12.30 (LOC, CET+1).
