Timi Zajc and Ema Klinec Slovenian champions

Timi Zajc, who already won the national title on the normal hill in Kranj early October, jumped on 142 m and 133 m on the HS 139 on Saturday and scored a total of 270.0 points. This was the first title in winter for the only 17-year-old.
Almost twelve points behind the clear winner, Anze Semenic was second with 139 m and 126.5 m and 258.4 points. Tilen Bartol, besides Zajc the second Slovenian youngster, who showed convincing performances in the World Cup recently, finished third with 130 m and 135 m. With 257.0 points he tied for third with Peter Prevc, who jumped on 136 m and 129 m.
Clearly behind the Top 3, Tomaz Naglic (131.5 m /126.5 m; 243.9 points) and Ziga Jelar (125 m /130.5 m; 236.9 points) came in fifth and sixth.
SK Triglav 1 (Ziga Jelar, Peter Prevc, Nejc Dezman, Domen Prevc) were unbeatable in the team event with their total of 1000.1 points. The other two spots on the podium went to SSK Ljubno BTC 1 (Matevz Samec, Jan Bombek, Zak Mogel, Timi Zajc; 892.4 points) and SK Triglav 2 (Robert Kranjec, Nik Fabijan, Aljaz Vodan, Cene Prevc; 855.7 points).
The ladies competition was dominated by Ema Klinec with the longest jumps in both rounds on 126.5 m and 130 m and 238.7 points. She was followed by Ursa Bogataj (123 m / 125 m; 222.3 points) and Nika Kriznar (126 m /124 m; 219.0 points).
Seven Slovenes to the 4-Hills-Tournament
Head coach Goran Janus had already announced the Slovenian team for the first two stops of the 4-Hills-Tournament before these championships in Planica. Jernej Damjan, Peter Prevc, Anze Semenic, Ziga Jelar, who earned the seventh quota spot for Slovenia with his very good results in the Continental Cup, Timi Zajc, Tilen Bartol and Jurij Tepes will compete in Oberstdorf. Domen Prevc will then replace Jurij Tepes for the event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
