The 2017/18 Ski Jumping World Cup season starts this weekend in Wisla (POL) and the preparations on the Adam-Malysz-hill there are in full swing just a few days before the big opening.

After the preparation of the facility could not go on as planned over the last days due to the weather, the temperatures will be cold enough on Monday and Tuesday with around - 7° C.

The organizers are now planning to completely cover the hill with artificial snow in the night from Monday to Tuesday. The final preparation of the HS 134 should then start on Tuesday morning.

In addition, more snow will be produced with snow cannons on the knoll as soon as possible.

The first competition of the new season will be a team event in Wisla on Saturday at 4 pm CET, followed by an individual competition on Sunday (3 pm CET).
