COC-M: Clemens Aigner makes it two in a row

Clemens Aigner's success story in the Continental Cup continued on day 2 in Oberstdorf (GER). The Austrian was also the best in the second competition on the Schattenberg-hill on Saturday evening and now won the last five Continental Cup events he took part in.

With 131.5 m and 133 m, the 26-year-old of the ski club SV Innsbruck Bergisel posted the best jumps in both rounds and his 300.5 points earned him is 15th win of his career in the Continental Cup.

Tilen Bartol of Slovenia, fourth on Friday, made the podium this time in second with the longest jump of the day of 135.5 m and 132 m and a total of 298.0 points. It was his second podium finish of the season.

Best athletes of the hosting German team was Pius Paschke. The 28-year-old repeated his third place from yesterday with jumps of 130.5 m and 129 m and 295.9 points.

Slovenia's Rok Justin came in fourth, best of the Polish team was Aleksander Zniszczol in fifth. Behind Robin Pedersen of Norway in sixth, Ulrich Wohlgenannt was seventh. The Austrian moved up six places with a strong jump in the final round.

After finishing fifth on Saturday, Moritz Baer confirmed his currently good shape in eighth today, Andrzej Stekala of Poland and Austria's Markus Schiffner completed the Top 10 on Saturday evening.

In the overall ranking of the Continental Cup Clemens Aigner now leads with 713 points. Pius Paschke (629 points) and Robin Pedersen (602 points) follow in second and third.

The next two competitions of the Continental Cup are taking place in Brotterode (GER) next weekend.
